Although refurbished, your system should provide you with years of use. To ensure that your system functions properly, we want to remind you that it is very important that you safeguard your computer from viruses and other malware.

Please follow these steps:

1. Keep your antivirus software up to date. It will alert you when it is time to update; please be sure to click to accept the updates.
2. Do not allow anyone in your household to use free file sharing programs or websites such as LimeWire, BearShare, Morpheus, FrestWire any others where you can get “FREE” advice, music, videos, or files of any kind. It is not free software but a way to inadvertently download viruses to your computer.
3. Do not allow anyone in your household to visit adult entertainment web sites. Again, these sites are not secure and you may be allowing viruses to be downloaded to your computer.
4. Do not attempt to download a free version of Microsoft Windows or Office Software. Microsoft never provides free software. This is an attempt to download viruses to your computer.

Your system includes free limited technical support. When experiencing a technical issue, simply contact us at techsupport@c2sdk.org or (858) 200-9784 and we would be happy to assist you.

Your system has a white service label with your unique 4 or 5 digit C2SDK System # that authenticates your free 1-year limited technical support service warranty. Please do not remove this label from your computer. In the event that service is required for your system, this 4 or 5 digit number must be provided to the C2K technical support team at the time of the service to be covered by your warranty.

  1. Your C2K warranty allows you to return your computer to us for repair or an exchange if your original computer is not working due to hardware problems. Returns due to any of the items listed above will require a fee of $20 to exchange your infected computer.
  2. If your system is returned with the hard drive wiped, removed, or another operating system installed the warranty will become invalid and a replacement system will need to be purchased at the full administrative fee of $40.
  3. Your system includes TeamViewer, a program that allows the C2K Technical Support Technician to access your computer (only with your authorization) to provide limited technical support. If you need to update your version of TeamViewer, click HERE save the file to your computer, and then run the program.
  4. Please note that C2K will never call you and ask you to pay money for technical support. If you receive an unsolicited call from someone claiming to be from Computers 2 Kids, asking for money, please call us directly at (858) 200-9784 Technical Support or (858) 200-9788 Programs before paying.
