Technology Donation FAQs

  1. Where do I donate computers?
    You can drop off your technology donations at our C2K warehouse located at 8324 Miramar Mall, San Diego CA 92121.  Visit our contact page for map and directions.
  2. What are your hours?
    C2K is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am until 5:00pm and Saturdays from 9:30am until 3:00pm. We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays.
  3. Will there be someone available to help me unload my car?
    Yes, when you arrive you will drive around to the back of the warehouse and pull up to the big roll-up door. There, a C2K staff or volunteer will help you unload your donations.
  4. Will my personal information be safe during the refurbishing process?
    C2K takes your information security very seriously. All systems that contain a hard drive will be processed meeting our security protocol.  Your hard drive, whether pre-sanitized or not, will be immediately removed from the computer/copier and sanitized using procedures detailed in the US Department of Defense National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual DoD 5220.22-M.   5. Are you open during the COVID-19 Closures?
    Yes, C2K will continue to receive technology donations from corporations and individuals. Are you a corporation with a large donation that needs to be picked up? No proplem. Contact tperry@c2sdk.org or (858) 200-9791 to schedule a time. 

Technology Assistance FAQs

  1. How do I apply for a computer?
    Applying for a computer is easy. Just click here to learn how. 
  2. I was supposed to pick up my computer at a school event and was unable to attend. Can I still get a computer?
    Yes, if you missed a school distribution, you will receive a letter with pick up instructions within two weeks of the event date. If  you haven’t received the letter by then, please contact us to confirm your correct mailing address.  (858) 200-9788 or programs@c2sdk.org.
  3. I received a letter to pick up my computer but I will not make it by the deadline. May I still get a computer?
    Yes, as long as you call us before the deadline, we will be happy to work with you. Just call (858) 200-9788 or programs@c2sdk.org.
  4. What happens if my computer stops working?
    All computers from C2K come with free technical support that begins on the day you pick up your computer.  Just call our technical support team at (858) 200-9784 or email techsupport@c2sdk.org for assistance.
  5. Do you accept checks, credit cards/debit cards?
    C2K cannot accept personal checks. We do accept all major credit/debit cards.
  6. Are you open during the COVID-19 Closures?
    Yes, C2K will continue to work during this time to ensure those students having to continue their education at home, have the tools they need to be successful.
